Pakistan is sucking upto the US but how far it is difficult to say considering them as a poodle on china’s lap. I think their aim is to cash in on the increasing differences between Trump and India. The US is uncomfortable at the lightning speed at which Indian forces struck Pakistan and probably immobilising their nuclear arsenal. They are also feeling a bit queasy on the improving relations between China and India. With a fight between Cambodia and Thailand this region is now a quagmire.
