Trump took a lot of interest in West Asia when he assumed Presidency. His views on West Asia had an initial effect to enforce a cease fire in Gaza. However that has waned off and Trump does not seem to have the band width to handle the region with many other issues on his plate including the tariff war, annexation of Green Land, control over Panama, Ukraine War, NATO, Europe and Indo Pacific and more. West Asia is back to its fractured old ways and probably with an entirely new set of issues; specially in Turkey, Syria, Iran, Qatar and Yemen. We will need more such webinars to see through the fog which obscures Middle East. India as usual is underplaying its hand despite the equity it has in the area.
