BANGLADESH AND ITS IMAGE OF ITSELF

Bangladesh is developing an image of itself as an important strategic player which will be a mediator between the West and the Islamic world and also develop great relations with its South Asian Neighbours in its progress. It also sees a revival of relations with Pakistan including nuclear assistance. All this is without India. In fact the expectation is that India will fall in place and line with this new image of Bangladesh. While this self image is delusional at best, are we seeing the rebirth of East Pakistan?

    Bangladesh as a country will not exist after about 50 years as it will go under water as the sea rises.I represented Bangla desh in the IMF and also advised rhem on tax reforms.I have been there many times.Their aim is to push as many muslims into India and Mamata and earlier congress party took in millions of them.They use India and of course we export billions of dollars worth essential goods to them.You must see petrapole on Indian side near Kolkata through which thousands of trucks from India enter b desh carrying goods.We can cut them of and block them also by sea.They have an army over 500000 strong and well equipped.They have front line MIG fighters.They are no push overs in a fight.They have also false ideas of their strength.From what I see we are soft on them born out of a feeling that they will turn around like Maldives.No they will not as fundamentalists are now ruling.Let us see how the BSF handles the border fencing issue
