The Tibetan plateau is undergoing massive changes due to Climate Change. The infrastructure in Tibet is at risk. This risk is being force multiplied by new projects which the Chinese are hell bent on executing. What is happening in Tibet must be seen in conjunction with the effect of Climate Change in mainland China. Sooner than later the ability of China to keep the infrastructure up will decline and that will lead to a massive degradation of political and military capability in Tibet. It has wide geopolitical ramifications for the Tibetan people and India.
