  1. Provocative article I thought you might find interesting. The timing is the second of two windows when the sea in the straits is calm. The first window is in April.

    The motivation seems
    – to test the PLA’s capability against a limited objective to build confidence for a larger one
    – to build leverage that can be used to coerce compromises out of the US like stopping training Taiwan’s military and curbing weapon sales.

The CCP expectation is no sanctions for this adventure. Really??

If XJP does not have confidence in the PLA’s capability I don’t understand how such an adventure will accomplish it. I’ve always seen Taiwan as an all-or-nothing proposition. Not some piecemeal affair where this or that is gobbled up gradually over time before taking the main prize.

    1. Xi Jinping will go nowhere…

  2. Why Indian so allergic with China?. Is it merely because of Pakistan? or for the game of thrones on the world stage?

    1. CHINA IS OUR NATIONAL ENEMY NO 1

      1. Well… okay. But I’m still curious about the reason. You haven’t answered my question, or at least provide your rationale for readers.

      2. Chinese unprovoked aggression in 2020

      3. Perhaps you are referring to the Galwan valley dispute. I think these border dispute also occur on the other part of this world, such as between India and Bangladesh; India and Pakistan; India and Nepal; Armenia and Azerbaijan; Ethiopia and Sudan; Morocco and Algeria; China and Japan, etc.

The Wikipedia article states that the Chinese forces objected to India’s road construction in the Galwan river valley.

Without diminishing respect, I think the level/scale of the dispute in the Galwan valley is still limited to hand-to-hand fights on the boxing ring, unlike Armenia – Azerbaijan. I am grateful that this conflict can be overcome with political maturity.

The big question is, why does the western media always exaggerate the boxing ring class dispute that actually could be resolved by both parties at that time. Why not blow up the news about the deadly border conflict between Palestinians and Israelis that already using arms.

China and India are representatives of Asia’s awakening. That’s a big thing to think about, together to advance Asia, so that Asian countries are not always under the shadow of western domination. Don’t let the pillars of Asia get distracted. Togetherness is the key.

      4. I do not know where you are from…but you seem to be lacking geopolitical realism
