40 years ago Sweden had over1000 artillery pieces. Nie only 24,!

    1. That is the case of all European armies. With Russia on its door step, the number will go up.

Gunners are a special kind of people. Which I respect a lot. Educated people are needed in the artillery.Knowledgeable in mathematics, physics, meterology and astronomy. Two of Russias foremost writers was also captains in the artillery!

      3. Thanks a lot for that Johan. High praise for my tribe! I will put it out to every one at large.

  2. Sir, thank you for the excellent update on the current state of our Artillery and future plans.
With respect to precision guidance, the concern would be the susceptibility to jamming if that’s dependent on external signals (e.g GPS). So, would it be better to focus on the ranging and subsequent consistency in accuracy of cheap and relatively dumb projectiles for the bulk of our firepower ?

    1. need a mix of all kinds. jamming is good in theory.
