This discussion with Lt Gen Dushyant Singh (R) on Pakistan was at a different level. We analysed many issues from a Pakistani viewpoint. We even discussed the issue of retaking POK which is hotly discussed in loose terms. The audience interaction was simply great.
Very interesting discussion Shankar. Most important prognosis for Pakistan Army is that its hold over the Govt and Judiciary will deteriorate gradually.
Politicisation of its Armed Forces in any democracy beyond the basic understanding is suspect in the long run.
Judiciary will regain its dutiful place if the Army Chief sees the writing on the wall.
