China is developing a hard exterior as Xi Jinping attempts to establish a Sino Centric World Order. However it is beset by internal problems which will only increase as days go by. This is the new China which is emerging. One needs to be cognisant of this since China sees India as a country which is rising at its expense. As an extension, the overall attitude towards India will be one of animosity and adversity. Our old conception about China needs a serious revisit.
