Sir, if China is so vulnerable to US sanctions how do we thread the needle of increased enmeshment with the western global economic system without becoming equally vulnerable to sanctions ? It looks like atmanirbharta, however difficult and long the path may be, is the only way to go. But, can we get there without an overwhelming dependency on western investments and the resultant strings attached to control our independence ?
