Sir, great discussion. Loved the enthusiasm in explaining the big picture in simple terms to us laymen.
Wrt the point about long term planning required for satellites, are technologies such as cubesats and near space launch systems being considered to provide on demand battlefield isr & communication solutions ? After all, war is unpredictable and having flexible and relatively cheap options available to battlefield commanders even if they are short lived would be a great force multiplier.-
