Remembering ‘Paddy’ – The Chief
Yesterday Gen S Padmanabhan, the 20th Army Chief of the Indian Army was cremated. This episode is in his remembrance. Gen Paddy as he was affectionately called was soldiers general with a rare intellect and a ready wit. Most importantly he spoke where it mattered and when he spoke it mattered! May he RIP.
