The character of China Pak collusion has changed post Op Sindoor. It has stepped up from being collusion to one of interoperability. This will not change. The relation is historic and elastic. It will accommodate issues coming up from time to time. The India USA strategic partnership is full of question marks. USA wants an alliance. India wants a partnership. The gap between the two is large. USA feels its interests are supreme and India’s interests are subordinated to that understanding. This needs resolution. It can not be done under Trump easily. India needs to play the long game with patience while managing its rise.
