The India US Strategic Partnership has run into rough weather. However as per the latest PEW report a sizable number of people of India still consider USA as a prime ally. We need to factor this in. People’s perception cannot be discarded or elites can not think differently. Also The Trump tariff & trade war has entered a critical phase. India needs to do good for itself and not pontificate.
