Mr Trump indicating that he wants Greenland to be part of USA is not whimsical by any stretch of imagination. There is method in this apparent madness. it involves Arctic sea routes, geopolitics, missile defence, energy, food security and most importantly AI. Yes AI. the tech accelerators – Amazon, Microsoft Google, Musk and more are the prime motivators in this latest thrust.
