These days there is lot of information-disinformation on India’s capability vis a vis China. I put forth two simple propositions. India’s rise is unstoppable when compared to that of Germany, Japan and China which seem to be faltering at the slightest of hurdles whereas India continues to progress despite unsurmountable odds. India needs to equip and modernise its armed forces as per its needs and not fall prey to copying the “jones”. Battles are human endeavours and not tech games or economic events. The Vietcong and Taliban defeated the most modern military despite being repeatedly mauled. Never forget that. PLA cannot win wars with sixth gen aircraft and 1st gen human capital. If India has to rise to its true potential the Politico Military equation must be right. At this point of time it is not.
