India faces a new security paradigm. It is up against China, Pakistan and Bangladesh which are coalescing together. While each country poses a different challenge, there is an emerging nexus aimed at containing India. While China has withdrawn from the LAC due to its apparent incapacities and internal situation, it is now getting to India through Pakistan and Bangladesh. India needs to have a game plan to tackle this concerted effort. Mr Sanjay Dixit and I started with the problems in Bangladesh which seem to be the most immediate, and expanded into the threats from Pakistan and China. We covered a lot of ground.
