Brig Arun Sahgal who has experience of Track 2 efforts , analyses the current goings on in Pakistan holistically. Increasingly the Pakistan state will continue to suppress Pakistani people as the Army continues to control the strings and Imran Khan is kept in jail. At this level, Pakistan will continue to find new bottoms in its ceaseless downward slide. At another level it seeks parity with India through increasing collusion with China as it accommodates the Chinese to spread their influence in the North Arabian Sea. India has to handle a schismatic Pakistan which is internally a jelly state and externally seeks to remain a geostrategic frontline state of international relevance.
