The CASA Webinar on Asim Munir as the President of Pakistan was fascinating. There are good reasons as to why he will not attempt to be the president. There are equally good reasons why he might effect a roof coup to become the president. In all cases the basic configuration of Pakistan as the Military State will n to change. Chances of any change in Pakistan’s attitude post Op Sindoor are also remote since they believe that they have won a military and diplomatic victory over India.
