Lt Gen Harimohan Iyer gave out a very simple and grounded view of Pakistan. His prognosis is that the line west of Indus will always be in turmoil. The chances of Army disintegrating are poor. Hence it will retain control of Pakistan. However, the Army is also weak and will not be able to control the areas west of Indus ie Baluchistan and KP. .With some embers of dissent in Sindh, POK and South Punjab, there will be a prolonged low grade civil war in Pakistan where the Army will be forced to Look West for a long time to come.
