Pakistan’s political and economic crises are now endemic. It has lost strategic relevance. Its singular aim seems to to seek parity with India in one form or the other. However the Pakistani’s realise that this is now almost next to impossible. As time had gone by, Pakistan has become insecure, despondent and dysfunctional because of its poly crisis and growing subservience to China. This is the mood which Brig Arun Sahgal has sensed through his interaction with Pakistani’s in the Track 2 dialogues.
