Chinese Views of India US Relations

China is pretty focussed and is closely monitoring where the India USA relationship is heading. I have outlined the CHINESE VIEWS OF INDIA US RELATIONS from three different perspectives and platforms. Firstly the view of China’s International Media which is multifaceted. Secondly the vernacular Chinese view which is pro china and dismissive and denigrative of India. Thirdly the view from a researched paper of CICIR. In all these views the common thread is that the growing India US relations are aimed to contain and contain China. There is sub surface hostility which is apparent and cannot be wished away. In the same breath…China can never be trusted.

That sums up Except Russia Germany and China India, France and the UK have rushed to meet Trump to FIND THEMSELVES DISHONOURABLE GRAVES. Trump just told Modi cut your taxes and let US goods in or else I will kick out all Indian goods with 25% and or with reciprocal tariff.Reduce your trade surplus with us by buying costly may be screwed up American weapons and I do not guarantee that I will provide sparess or even not secretly monitor their use.Now get the hell out and start working on what I said.Modi came back saying my friend Trump and I had a great meeting. Piyush Goyal is working on cutting customs duties on US imports. Trump is a megalomaniac like Hitler.I am not saying that what he is doing is wrong for the US.The US has been having a fiscal deficit of 5 percent over for several years increasing US debt to over 100 % of their GDP..Trump is a businessman and for him the US govt is a company not a govt.So he is cutting costs everywhere.He is improving its BS.

But govts are not companies.And he will realise it soon. I was initially for F 35.But recently I learnt our AMCA will surpass all known fighters with 5+++ technologies and we should not go for any foreign fighters. Tejas Mk2A will start ground run in 2/3 months it is a 4.5 + generation.Good enough. But engine constraint is there.GTRE is trying for a KAVERI 2.0 for AMCA. USAID in india gave no aid to govt but to the voluntary agencies sometimes in collaboration with the govt.We do not care if it ends may be better. Regarding our neighbours who have lost USAID we cannot and should not fill the gap.We have separate budget for external aid. The only saving grace is the 25 % tariff for India will be known after a bilateral on it.
