Despite the bluster the Trump Effect is being felt. The Gaza ceasefire is being attributed to it. If Ukraine war is to end, the Trump Effect might have something to do with it. Many of Trump’s executive orders are internal to USA. However they have huge external ramifications on immigration, citizenship, climate change etc. Besides this there are direct and indirect effects on countries and their economies. The ban of foreign aid for 90 days will change the way people have been taking USA for granted. Lifting of tailpipe emission norms threatens the EV industry and as a consequence will impact the Chinese economy. Pakistan and Bangladesh will be hit hard in many ways.
