Discussion with Dr Amjad Ayub Mirza indicates that Pakistan will plumb new depths in 2025. There will be no great improvement as it will continue to struggle with TTP, BLA and unrest in POK. The interesting issue is that in case India wants to regain POK which is its legitimate territory, there must be a political out reach. The issue needs to be internationalised and the people of POK must be given representation in the J&K assembly. People of J&K must form solidarity groups with people in POK. All simple and doable steps. However the Government of India must have the will and intent to do it. Without basic political steps the idea of incorporating POK into India is pure vote gaining rhetoric which is spelt out occasionally by our politicians. .
