The recent sacking of Admiral Miao Hua, a senior CMC member has sent shock waves through the PLA. This is a completely political sacking. However a deeper analysis tells you that there are multiple reasons for sacking of various PLA high ranking officials over a period of time. .It also tells you that there is intense factionalism in PLA which could be power broking, corruption or plain incompetence. Increasingly, Xi Jinping has surrounded himself with Yes men. The state of PLA is not very great at all.
