One thing we can predict about Trump 2.0 is that it will be unpredictable. Having said that the personal equation between our PM and the President elect is great. Hence India USA relations will be good. The Trump team seems to be full of China hawks and the Chinese are bracing for a lot of tariffs and additional containment measures. That creates lot of opportunities for us , provided we can grab them. In this regard our track record is not inspiring. Also it must be seen as to how much time Trump will have for world affairs since he has a lot stables to clean internally. It might keep him occupied. Interesting times ahead.
