Mr Sree Iyer and I discussed Iran and its internal situation after the death of President Raisi. We also discussed how the country is likely to evolve in the future. The issue is that Iran is an important nation for India and we have had a civilisational connect with it. Good relations with Iran are critical due to many factors which have been highlighted in this discussion.
