Lt Gen Gautam Moorthy (R) and I discussed how the Pakistan Army has usurped extra constitutional powers with time. In present times, Pakistan Army has given to itself such powers that the constitution is a rubber stamp. In fact it would not be wrong to say that the edict(s) of the Pakistan Army is the constitution itself. There is no parallel in the world.
