Ambassador Anil Trigunayat and I had a fee and open conversation on how there is increasing interference from outside on India’s internal matters. Most of the countries which comment on India’s internal affairs do so from the prism of their circumstances. They often do not understand India. More importantly they do not understand that India is changing and is no more prepared to be preached at. It was a frank and clear message to those external actors who want to listen. The larger issue is that as India rises , we must expect such attempts and learn to ignore them.
