If India wants to be a leader of the Global South, increasing cooperation and expanding relations with Kenya are a must. Kenya is also important in the context of China – India competition in Africa. The India Kenya Maritime Cooperation which is on the anvil is a golden opportunity for us to enhance our relationship with Kenya , which has been a conundrum for us for many reasons. To that extent, this program was outstanding in content. I learnt a lot about Kenya from Shri Gurjit Singh our ex Ambassador to Germany and African Union. Many of my pre-conceptions were blown away. I would recommend that you watch this program for its sheer intellectual content and balanced views.
