This is a popular question on everyone’s’ mind these days. The simple answer is yes it can. However it will not be a replica of the attack which HAMAS did on Israel. It will be more nuanced , disaggregated and disruptive. The scale will also vary. Our discussion shows that the stakes for Pakistan are high politically, economically and geopolitically. It all boils down to what Pakistan aims to achieve , the scale and the timing. The conversation with Lt Gen Dushyant Singh (R) was very interesting as usual.
