In this peek into everyday China , I have outlined the Chinese stakes in the Middle East and where it stands, As it is emerging, China has been left on the sidelines as it was during the Ukrainian war . The difference being that China has huge equity in the Middle East. China is trying to play all sides but is slowly but certainly adopting a stance against Israel and for Palestine. Overall, it is quite clear that for any extra regional power to have influence it must have military presence. Economic power alone will not do. Further, the fears that China might begin its own adventure into Taiwan seem unfounded.
