Gunners Shot wishes all Indians the very best on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Great valour and sacrifice was on display at the heights of Kargil in May – Jun 1999 when we gave Pakistan their come uppenance. Artillery played a great role in it. In this video, I have highlighted the role of artillery and compared it with the role it has played in Ukraine. Everyone says the artillery is the King of battle..in Ukraine this king was without its Queen Infantry. Resultantly Russia is still struggling to overpower Ukraine despite force superiority. In Kargil the superior Fire and Move ability of Indian Artillery and Infantry won the day. Of course, the fact that Pakis were simply outgunned is also highlighted.
