Air Marshal Rajiv Sachdeva (R) and I had a refreshing discussion on enhancing jointness which can help establish theatre commands. This is the first time that an IAF officer has appeared on Gunners Shot and hoping that many more will follow. The fact that both of us did the NDC course together helped a lot. Need more such discussions.

Coming to Agniveers, sir, I have an idea / suggestion
As most of the agniveers come from rural areas, it will be easily acceptable to them, if a piece of arable land is given to them during exit. Moreover, to make the foundation strong, our education system may be reformed in such a way to mold character rather than mere means of materialistic pursuit. Unfortunately the present dispensation is creating a narrative of education for economic growth alone.
